This reissue includes two newly recorded tracks performed by the Sing Street Band, featuring cast members from the stage musical adaptation, along with newly written liner notes by composer and music director Gary Clark.

The soundtrack features original songs written specifically for the film by John Carney and Gary Clark — most notably 「Go Now」 featuring Adam Levine, one of the film's most beloved tracks. It also includes iconic songs that perfectly capture the era's atmosphere, with music from artists such as The Cure, Motörhead, Duran Duran, and The Jam.
